Help choosing a resort for 2 adults

I need some help deciding which resort to stay at. My fiancée and I are going to be at WDW from December 16th – 23rd. We are looking at staying at the moderate category. I am currently booked at the CBR. The issue is my fiancée HATED the look of it. The room décor bothered him . We have previously stayed at the POR and loved it, so I am thinking of switching to that one. I am also looking into the Coronado Springs. We are in our mid 20’s and would like to have access to a decent pool. Water slides or anything like that are not important, just as long as the pool is deep enough to swim in. Any suggestions?

I stayed at CSR and its absolutely beautiful. I went w DBf and both of us are in our 20s. The casitas section was my favorite and I would recommend that.

POR is our fav moderate. I prefer the mansion section. Have you been since they renovated the rooms? I love the new rooms, and queen beds.

I think the CSR is beautiful. I also love the pool section.

I have not stayed at the POR since the renovations. I have loved what I have seen online about them. I am very tempted into booking the royal guestrooms, I think they look fabulous!! If only they came with a king bed

POFQ definitely has a more adult environment if that's what you're looking for. I have stayed there before and been on a bus to Epcot and a boat to DTD without any children on it.

CSR has a very nice adult atmosphere; there is the largest hot tub of all the moderates, a fitness center, a salon and massages, an indoor club with music on the weekends as well as the Laguna Bar along the lake. You also have beautiful courtyards in the Casitas section. DH and I have spent both of our 50th birthdays there as well as our 25th anniversary, and we'll be back in 39 days for DH's surprise 60th birthday trip. I would recommend it to anyone.

I would definitely choose CSR...it is beautifully landscaped, the pool is very nice, and just has a more adult feel than the other mods!

Thanks everyone! I decided to switch it to the POR. I left the decision of POR, CSR, CBR POFQ up to my fiancee. He really likes the ferry to DTD (he is obsessed with any water craft). I really want him to fall in love with Disney. This is his first trip really experiencing all the parks (he has only been to MK). So I am happy to go with any resort he wants. I am thinking about doing CSR for my next trip, since it seems to come highly recommended. 48 days
