I am presently researching and ready to book our first Disney cruise. Well actually first cruise ever! Travelling with my DD, 6 and 10 year old. The information on staterooms has been great but I 'm still having a hard time deciding between booking a room on deck level 7 or 8 on the Disney Wonder. Deck 8 has the more desirable bigger room but people mention noise from the deck chairs overhead. Level 7 seems very convienient and quiet but less space (reflected in a bit of savings on the price).
Any previous experience and opinions from past Disney cruise guest would be greatly appreciated!!! Particularly if you experienced a lot of noise in a room on deck 8. I'd hate an early morning wake up everyday with the rearranging of deck chairs. I'd love this holiday to be as magical as possible.
Thanks!!

We've had cabins on decks 7 and 8. We did hear chairs moving on the deck above maybe twice but never in the early morning. I wouldn't hesitate to book deck 8 again.

I was kind of wondering (pun intended ) the same thing. We are directly above the Oceaners Lab and I'm not too concerned about the noise but if anyone has any recommendations I would love the input.

Thanks!

We stayed forward/midship on 6 and LOVED it, was very quiet, we were right above the kids clubs but heard no noise. It was convenient to walk down 1 flight of steps to drop the kids off, close to the atrium, the restaurants, and not such a far walk to the pool deck that we needed the elevator. We liked the location so much that we booked the exact same room location (just on the port vs starboard side) for our next Wonder cruise.

As mentioned deck 8 rooms can get a bit noisy from chairs moving around and you'd be surprised how loud a 8 year old kid can sound when they're running when you're trying to rest. Unless you need the size of a family room I prefer deck 7.

we usually stay on deck 8. Noise has never bothered me from the upper deck. But it could be that we do so much all day that exhaustion takes over and we are out cold until morning. If your a light sleeper... might deck 7 would be a better situation.
