Help choosing 2/3: HDDR, Ohana, 1900

Hello!
Working on our ADR list for our fall trip and have 2 more family/kid centric dinners to account for. Trying to decide between Ohana, Hoop de hoo, and 1900 park fare. Will have a 5yo girl and 2 yo boy, staying at BLT on monorail.

We are already planning a good variety of princess and character meals (see below) so I was wondering if we might skip 1900. However Hoop de hoo will be much less convenient to get to than Ohana/1900 and I wasn't sure if the trip there is worth it. Ohana seems fun and I like the menu, but wasn't sure the menu will appeal to kids as much as the other 2.

The other "kid friendly" meals we are planning:
Breakfasts:
Crystal palace, Chef mickey, tusker house

Lunch: Akershus, BOG

dinner: CRT

'Ohana is not a character meal for dinner-just for breakfast. Dinner is not nearly as fun for little ones as breakfast, IMO.

Hoop Dee Doo is a lot of fun but I personally would not take a 2 year old there-it is geared more towards older kids/adults and it is very loud. My son went the first time when he was 4 and my daughter was 7-she enjoyed it, he could not wait for it to be over. We went again when he was 6 and he loved it.

Garden Grill at Epcot has a really fun character dinner with great interactions and the food is very good and served family style so no buffet lines.

I guess you never know. My son did not like to sit still for very long at that age. He had a much better time at Mickey's Backyard BBQ that year. My kids are 20 and 16 now and they both insist we go to Hoop Dee Doo every trip.

My vote is for 'oHana and 1900. I've seen many toddler boys mesmerized at 1900 Park Fare by Cinderella

If you do choose HDDR, there is a boat right at the Contemporary over to Ft. Wilderness, so very easy, or boat from MK if you are there. We love 1900 dinner, stepsisters are hilarious, but I see you also have CRT and Akershus. Maybe save one of those for future trip as you will have a lot of overlap - Akershus does give you Belle in her yellow dress, but your other 4 could be repeats of CRT, or you may get 1 different - up to you, just an FYI! Castle is awesome and magical to do at least once, Akershus is our least favorite of the three - we did CRT 1st trip, then Akershus 2nd.

CP and TH are must-dos every trip, great choices! Don't know if you considered Coral Reef in Epcot, which does not have characters, but you get to sit next to the aquarium and watch fish and sea turtle swim by, which DD watched more than she ate!

Oh man all three are so awesome! We do Ohana and HDDR every single trip!
To me Hoop dee doo is a must do!!!
We tried 1900 last year and loved it so much too that it will become another must do!
But for your kids I'd say Ohana & 1900.

I'd choose 'OHana and HDDR.
I think HDDR is fun for all ages.

Ohana and HDDR. If you take the boat over to Ft. Wilderness, there is a fun playground for the kids to play on before dinner. Also, depending on the time you are there, I believe there is a campfire with movies at Ft. Wilderness with Chip and Dale which anyone can go to. Might be fun to make a night of it.

Thanks for the great advice. Will definitely consider maybe dropping Akershus to avoid princess repetition, especially if we go with 1900 PF. I think the menu at coral reef would probably appeal more to the kids, and the giant aquarium tank sounds good too.

with Coral Reef remember not all tables are right at the tank and your kids will not be able to walk up to tank which can lead to upset kids

I would go for Ohana and HDDR. This will give you a little more variety, kids can participate in coconut races, limbo and hula at Ohana. HDDR involves the whole place in laughter, singing and clapping and small ones can enjoy too. Since you are covering Princess meal at CRT(thats the ultimate for that type meal IMO), stay away form 1900. And for BLT, a boat transports you to Fort Wilderness, and its no more than a 5 min walk from the dock to HDDR. May take 15-20 mins tops via boat. Bear in mind, the boat depending on route may stop by Wilderness Lodge 1st, so allow time. If at MK, same scenario, boat takes you directly to Fort Wilderness.

I'd definitely go with HDDR and probably 'Ohana because it's different from most other meals. My now 4.5 year old DS has been to HDDR three times, at ages 2, 3, and 4, and loved it each time. He's not wild about 'Ohana after two visits, but I think the lateness of our ADRs those times had an effect.
