HELP!!! Can we turn off the music on our Ariel bubble wand?

On our last trip, my husband insisted on purchasing an Ariel bubble wand. All the kids were waving them around and making bubbles, so he thought one would be fun for around the pool. We got home, and he fired it up. We did not know it made music, too. We discarded the packing while packing up to head home. Does anyone know if there is a way to disable the music, but still have bubbles?

Not familiar with this product at all, but I can give you this tip. When my kids were little and had some of these electronic noise making things, not all of them had volume controls. We did the only thing we could think of to lower the volume on some of them...find where the sound comes out and put duct tape over it. It won't stop the noise completely, but it will significantly lower it.

We have said toy. No, no way to turn off music and keep the bubbles. I agree the volume on this particular toy is somewhat obnoxious!

I will not be replacing the batteries on this one if I can help it! :-)

Thank you! We're going to try cotton balls stuffed inside the housing--directly on the speaker. Maybe play around with just disconnecting the speaker.

Omg, we got this in June but weirdly enough my boys never touched it until last week. It's incredibly obnoxious! They played with it for a few days and now seem to be onto something else. Thank goodness!

Yes you can!! Reviving an old thread.... we found out you can just cut the speaker wire with scissors and the wand still works! Just no sound - perfect! Just take the batteries out and on ours, you can see the speaker on the left side and it has two tiny wires going to it. Just reach in with scissors and cut a wire and you are good to go with no more "Under the Sea", just lights and bubbles. Or just lights. :-)

Thank you for sharing this.

As a side note... we have 4 young kids each with their own wand... the song is enough to drive you batty x 4 x 10 days
