We are leaving Wed am for 5 nites at Poly (2 nites garden view and 3 concierge) When I made the original reservation (2 weeks ago!!) It was for the 3 kids and me. Then my BFF and her 18month old decided to come along, and I haven't added them to the room yet. I kept meaning too...it just never happened with dance recitals, end of school year, yadayadyada.

They ARE coming, have airfare. Our room SHOULD accomodate 2 adults, 3 kids (6,5, and 3) and 1 infant (18m). But will a nice CM add them on for me with just 1.5 days to go?? I have been trying to get thru to concierge, but I honestly can never get a human, and emails are very slow in response (like 3-4 days!). I have already requested a crib.

Any thoughts from DISers?? I know, I really blew it this time! The poor friend and kid will be stuck at MCO, with no Magical Express, no bags, and refused once they make thier way to Poly!! My worst nightmare...well not worst, let me try to keep some perspective here! I am just SO reday to get on that plane!!

Thanks!

If I'm understanding the question correctly, then yes. We added 2 adults at check-in during our recent trip. I don't know about the 6 people in a room though.

Thanks Slug! I am on the line, just got another night concierge!! Hurray!

They needed a manager to change that so close to the date of arrival, so I am too chicken to ask this nice CM to add 2 guests as well!!

From what I have read, infants under age 2 do not count in the # of guests (I think they should as they have the most stuff and their crib takes up valuable spacee!:rotfl: ) but I have not taken less than 2 there before.

Any help or experience would be great. This 2 weeks notice commando disney planning is killing me!! At least we won't be doing the parks commando style (with 4 kids!!)

Thanks!

You can just show up with them -- you have the legal number of people so its no problem and they will add them on right then - I have done it before at the Poly and in concierge.

I believe for them to be eligible for Magical Express they need to be on the reservation for the room. You need to call again and add them and see if you can get them on ME this late in the game. If not, they can pay for Mears transfer.

May I just say you are very brave planning a trip with just two weeks notice!! I thought I was bad last year planning one in two months. I do think it would be fun sometime to just say, "Hey, let's go to Disney World next week!" Our next trip is a year away, so maybe I can sneak a quick surprise trip in sometime before then!

I added my sister to our April res. 3 days prior. For ME, I just told them at the ME desk at MCO that she was added to the res. They looked in computer to verify, then prepared a hand-written confirmation for her to present to the driver with her name on it. As far as the yellow tags, we had plenty to share. Good luck!
