Tomorrow is 90 days from my arrival in Disney World for our honeymoon! We're staying from April 27-May 4. I'm going to call tomorrow to make my dining reservations, but I don't have May's hours or firework schedule! For our last night in Disney, I wanted to make dinner reservations for DF and I at California Grill and see the fireworks from there, but I don't know what time to make them and I don't know what time the fireworks will be! I was thinking of making them at 7:00... does that seem ok? Should they be earlier or later?

TIA!

I would use wdwinfo historical hours. For our trip in feb. this yr. with wishes at 9p we have an adr at 7:30. You can always switch when the "actual hours" are posted.

Congratulations!!!! - My DH and I have hit almost 17yrs (May) and 25 yrs together. It's not always easy but boy is it worth it. Especially if they love Disney!!!! Best wishes to you and your DF.

OK, the only thingn I can suggest is to look on 2008's hours, I've used this method many times now and it's works pretty well... No, I can do that for you....

So I am assuming you are talking about Sunday May 3 being the night in question. I always stick to the corresponding DAY and not date, which last year was Sunday May 4, Wishes was scheduled to be at 10PM (which was the same time for us in Sept). We booked for 8PM, checked-in at 7:45 asked for MK view window seat, and we were seated by 8:05 or so.... Just after we ordered desserts, Wishes began. We did order apps though.

That's what I would do.

Idk what I would do if this happens to me in June for Sept, I may just lose it.

I would still watch like a hawk to see when they do come out so just in case they aren't similar, you can quickly try to change it.

:goodvibes good luck!

If for some reason you cannot get an ADR during the fireworks, CG will probably let you come back later in the evening just to view them. We were told we could do this in December, but we didn't make it back. Fireworks were at 9 and the latest ADR we could gt 180 days out was 5:35!

Wow contratulations on the Disneymoon. This is so funny. There are three DIS'ers inlcuding myself that are going to WDW for their honeymoons at this same time. I'm getting married on the 24th and going to WDW from April 26th to May 3rd. We made our ADR yesterday and got the California Grill on April 30th for 8:50pm. Fireworks are at 9pm. I would suggest 8pm or later.

Congrats to you too! We're getting married on the 25th and then going to WDW from April 27-May 4! So we're one day off! I called this morning and made my ADRs and the lady who was taking them told me 7:30 would be a good time. Hopefully she's right! Once the park hours and firework schedule comes out, I can call and change the time (if it's available, that is). If not, than I'll just eat very slowly. haha!

We have been to CG six times in the past six years and I can say, you are there well into an hour. We usually have an appetizer, entree and dessert and it puts us there for around an hour and a half.

Be sure to tell the staff at CG it is your honeymoon or anniversary (even better if you tell Dining when you call to make or confirm your ADRs). The staff usually sends around someone with a camera to take your pic at the table for an event like this. They used to print it and give it to you on the spot in a cute Contemporary folder, but now they email it to you. We have one from each of our anniversaries!
