Looking for some help, please! I booked a one bedroom standard view today and was so shocked that there was availability that I didn't know what preferences to request. I know that I want a non smoking room and that I don't want to overlook the trash area but aside from that I'm a standard view dummy!! Would love room suggestions and any room numbers would be appreciated! Thank you! Halle

We just got back and had 3125/27 (2BR lock-off). We enjoyed being on an upper floor, although it was about as far from the elevators as you can get. I would say a room closer to 4101 or 3101 would be nice for the convenience to the elevator, but other than that...I think they'll all be great!

Congrats and have a wonderful trip! :)

I've had a 1 bedroom standard the past 3 Decembers, all have been great. I always request top floor, across from the bus stop. From that area, you have a great view of Illuminations high fireworks. Last year we were in 3123, which is on the corner above the pond. It's an extra large room, had a huge balcony off the kitchen and living room where you could see Illuminations plus another off the bedroom where you could see MGM. There's a stairway down to an exit by the pond so you don't have to walk all the way to the lobby to go to the bus stop or parking lot. The year before we were in 4103, which is across from the bus stop, about halfway down the hall.

I have liked every room we have been in, don't sweat it.

In fact my favorite was waaaaaaaaaay down the hall, just popped out the stairs and I was 1/4 of the way to MGM.

Our favorite SV rooms are also way down the hallway. These rooms have great views, are quieter due to less traffic and are located near several staircases if you want to avoid the walk to the elevator. These rooms are also usually easy to get because most people request to be near the elevators.
We have also never had a room at BWV that we did not like. Of course we have our absolute favorites but have really never had a bad room at BWV.
Have a great trip!

I have always stayed on the first floor (below the lobby) not far from the elevators. Easy to get to lobby, boardwalk, pools, community hall, etc. (People going with us have needed to be near elevators). Rooms were great as well. This trip in April, I have a SV 2BR room booked. What is a roomnumber or area that I can ask for with a bit nicer view? Is it worth it to improve on the view to be so far from the elevators?
By the way, I also LOVE walking out that far door and being right near the tennis courts and MGM!

We had that room 2 years ago and I constantly request it. Unfortunately, it's always booked. Yes it's a hike to the elevators, but like DebbieB said we used the stairs.

I've never really had a "bad" standard view" room.

I've requested 3123 again, but I doubt that I'll get it. As they say "requests are noted, but not guaranteed"!! :)

Lucky you! I just called this morning (our 7-month day) and could only get preferred for our stay in September. It's our first time at BWV though, and it really doesn't matter to us.

So is a room across from the bus stop far from the elevators? I had a room (studio) in December that was far from the elevators , #3111, and I could see the bus stop-don't know if I was across from the bus stop. Loved this area and wondering what to ask for to get this area again. Anyone just say "far from elevators"?
