Hello everyone! I'm a newbie here, will be married September 16th in my hometown and honeymooning at WDW September 17th-23rd.

I'd love to use the bride and groom mouse ears for our send-off, and to wear on our honeymoon! All I can find are the headband-style bride ears. Can anyone advise where online I could find the beanie-style? Are they discontinued? What's the deal? I'd LOVE a pair of the beanie style!

Thanks for any help you could send my way! :bride:

Those beanie style ears have been discontinued...your best bet is ebay!

Good luck!

I got mine online at mouseshoppe (won't let me put the address in correctly but you get what I mean!!! just gotta add the beginning part and the ending part! ;) )

I don't know if they still have them, but I paid $15 for mine. I can't wear headbands b/c they cause terrible migraines! YAY beanie hats! I don't know why they discontinued them in the first place!

good luck!!!

You're Disneymooning the same days we are!! (Except I'm getting married on the 19th!! ) Yay!! We're staying at the Caribbean. We're getting the ears, too!! I am SO wearing them the whole time. So, if you see an obscenely happy tattooed couple with B&G ears on, thats us!! Say hi!!

The beanie style has been discontinued. I wore them my first year, and boy was it hot. Our honeymoon is July, so it was hot to begin with. But boy did that beanie bring the heat on my scalp. The headband is so much cooler, and comfy. Plus you usually had to use hair pins to keep beanie on, I sure did. And that hurt my head worse than a headband. But if you are sensitive to headbands, I can sure understand that. My niece is.

Another option could be the baseball style caps with Bride & Groom on them. They can be so cute if you add a little extra decoration to them. Like lace and some tool on the brides. I wore it one year. On mine I put some disney pins of brides. It was cute and comfy. But again, it too was hotter than the headband. I wore the hat at night when the sun wasn't blazing.

Best of everything!!

Thanks for the replies, everybody! I think I'll go ahead and order the headband style from mouseshoppe - the fact that the beanie style would become hot didn't occur to me. Also, the headband appears to be padded, so it couldn't be *too* uncomfortable.

Sadly, I'm 99% sure the groom ears won't fit FH's large noggin. (He's a firefighter, and has to special order his fire helmets, as the regular ones are too small! And to think, I'll be passing his child's head through my birth canal someday...*shudder*!)

I'll be sporting the bride ears every day, though! We'll be staying at the WL, Disneybridetobe - look for the bride ears, and a fella with a big head! Hehe! I'll keep an eye out for you! :bride: :groom:

My DF has a big head too!! LOL I never thought that they wouldn't fit! If they don't, he's so getting the regular mouse ears with "Groom" embriodered on them!!

I will DEFINITELY look for you!! :cheer2:

Ok from the girl who goes to disney every chance she gets the Groom hats are not that big.
My Fiance doesnt have a very large head and he finds them too snug to wear.
But then hes also dumb and feels like he has to push it down all the way.

I think what I will end up doing is buying regular beanies and then decorating them myself.
I have tons of tulle and crap from making my dress that Ill have to think of somthing nifty.
