Help! Breakfast in the am, dont know how to get there!

Hi! We have a 7:40 reservation for surf's up with Mickey and friends tomorrow morning. Park open is at 9 with early entry at 8. We are staying on harbor near the crosswalk. What is the best way to get there and how long of a walk is it? I've never been to the PPH. Can I walk through the espanlaud at 7:20? Should I arrive earlier?irs just myself and 2 young boys in a stroller. Thanks!

I think you can get through then. If not, by 7:30 at the latest and you can make it. I would cut through the Grand Californian hotel - go out the stained glass door, go left, and follow the path around to the PPH.

When you go to the Esplanade let the people at the security tables know you need to go straight through to PPH for you breakfast reservation. As you go through DTD, cut through the GCH and out the front door. You'll see PPH across the street off to the left. Makes it a shorter walk going through GCH.

I'm not a good judge of time... But my guess it should only take maybe 10 minutes???

Where is the cut through for the grand? The farthest I've been in DTD recently is rainforest cafe. I was at Goofys kitchen but that was 4 years ago and just followed my husband.

The Grand is much closer than Rainforest Cafe... its right after the check in area in the esplanade... You'll see the doors (on the left as you are walking thru DTD toward Rainforest cafe), go in there, follow the corridor all the way to the lobby... once to the lobby head right and go out the front and follow the sidewalks to the PPH... you do need to cross the street--the PPH is tall enough that you should be able to see it and spot your way there. Once you have done it one time it'll make perfect sense!

I believe the big iron doors/gates through the GCH is right next to Sephora (the make-up place). There's a big space, you'll see a big opening, walk through it and you'll see wedding dresses displayed and/or DVC signs. Then you'll know that's the correct entrance.

Yes, the entrance into the GCH from DTD is right after Sephora, it's between Sephora and Disney 365, take a left and into the GCH you walk. As others have said from there you simply walk through the GCH lobby and out the front door, cross the street to the PPH, easy peasy. If you have problems or get worried about it just ask a CM, they will help you. I would allow 10-20 minutes to get there, just in case there are big lines at security when you go through, but walking through the esplanade won't be a problem, you don't even have to tell them you're just walking through, just do it.

Yes, the entrance into the GCH from DTD is right after Sephora, it's between Sephora and Disney 365, take a left and into the GCH you walk.

And the store on the *right* you might be distracted by as you look for the gates is Haagen Dasz. If you see that gigantic cone, turn left.

It's covered outdoor path, then walk in the sliding glass doors, turn left and go up the long hall. Going the way you're going, on the right there are ramps for wheeled conveyances like strollers. Once you get into the lobby, turn right and go out the beautiful doors. Follow the covered path to the left, follow the sidewalk, cross at the crosswalk, and then you can go in the first set of doors you come to at PPH. They will be just past the restaurant, and you will be able to see into the restaurant easily.


Now...depending on the age/carseat-needs of the kids, you might consider a cab, simply because it's easier. But carseat stuff makes taxis harder, so it's up to you to think about.

We took taxis the mornings of our two breakfasts. We were at the FFI and I think they cost us about $12. We thought it was worth it and we enjoyed not having to get up the 20 minutes earlier to walk through the esplanade.
