I feel so bad for him, but I want to laugh at him too.
He was so excited last evening about trying out some new cheese melting experiment on the steaks we BBQ'ed. When I brought the steaks in, he came running full speed into the kitchen and smashed his little toe on the door jamb.
We both heard the crunch and I knew something was wrong, but BF just shrugged it off. I checked before he left for work this AM and it was puffy and black. He still shrugged it off even tho he was really hurting. After a couple of hours at work, he went to the CentraCare place there and they told him it was broken.
I've never had a broken bone or dealt with anyone that has a broken bone. Right now he is resting with his foot elevated on 2 pillows and he took some ibuprophen. There really isn't much I can do for him from what I have read on the internet.
Besides taping his little toe to the next one for work, any suggestions or advice on how to help him? I am clueless when it comes to broken bones!!
