HELP, big hole in microfiber couch

I have a microfiber couch (not even 2 years old) and it looks like someone cut it with a razor on the cusions, how do I fix it? The big hole is not on a seem, it is in the middle of the cusion going horizontal. I can't afford to buy a new couch and the couch does not have a warranty on it. TIA

Can you flip the cushion? Maybe you can call the manufacturer and ask them if they will replace the cushion cover for you for a reasonable fee. It's worth a try.

Oh I wish it would be that easy. Unfortunately it is a recliner couch so the cushion is attached and will not be movig anywhere!!!

I agree with others that say to flip the cushion if you can. You can also iron on a patch to keep it from ripping further. It gets tougher if you can't flip it. We had a couch that didn't have a warranty and the fabric frayed after a couple of years. When I looked into having it recovered it was cheaper to buy a new couch.

Worse comes to worse, you could iron a patch onto it and tuck a decorative quilt/blanket on the part that you sit. You could also get a slip cover. We didn't have good luck with those. They kept coming untucked. They drove me crazy!

Well we went to American Furniture Warehouse and they said they would call the manufacture to see if they have the fabric. The fabric would be $35, how they pulled that number out I have no idea since they don't even know if they can get the fabric, plus labor. They will call us back so I guess I have to wait and see!!! The patch would be the best bet in hoping it would stop the tearing, I hate slip covers!!!
