Help..before I wrap this dvd...

I have the rebate for the Snowwhite movie...and I'm ready to wrap the dvd as a gift...what is the proof of purchase?? Is it just that little tag? Or is it the whole thing with the bar code on it??
this is confusing....it looks like the scissor mark is just the little tag...does that mean there's two on each dvd?? TIABarb

Yes, the little tag is the proof of purchase for the movie and there are two on the movie. Remove the paper insert from the DVD, cut out the little tab, and then put the paper insert back in. Don't cut through the plastic.

There are two since there are multiple rebates you can send in for a single movie. For Snow White, there was a Hefty rebate and the Kernel's Popcorn seasoning one.

Yup, the proof of purchase is just the little tab where the scissor marks are. All of the Disney DVDs I've gotten recently have had two tabs per DVD.

I would be sure to read the fine print on the rebate. I was just about to do the Sunmaid raisin and Hannah Montana movie rebate. It turns out the store receipts have to be the from the same state you live in. Well I live about 5 min. from the state line and I bought the movie there.

Oh well it stinks I cant do it. Just a heads up to read the fine print in case there is something like that on yours.

Wow. What an offensive thing to say. There are DISers on this board who sit and work clerical jobs in cubicles all day making minimum wage or near minimum and TAKE PRIDE IN THEIR JOBS AND DO CARE ABOUT THE JOB THEY DO.
