HELP! Battery size for build your own lightsabers at DTD?

Hi all,

I've read that they cost $19.95 each (no matter what pieces you choose). I've also read that you should plan to bring extra batteries as the batteries they give you die quickly. Can anyone tell me what size batteries they use? Can anyone confirm the price?

I will have to dig his out and check the size. They are either Ds or Cs, I'm pretty sure. They were 19.95 when we got his. (He played with it quite a bit while we were at Disney and the batteries lasted the whole time we were there.)

They take 2 C batteries, but we didn't have to replace ours until well after we were back home. BTW, I love this toy. Hubby & eldest daughter each made one. I wish I had one too (maybe this year).

Now, can anyone confirm the cost? I've been reading that it is $19.95...but is that the total cost or is it, well, "that's the base price but if you add this option it's $10 more and this option is another $10..." or is it just $19.95 period and that's it?

Thanks all for your help. We're taking my DS and his best friend in a week and they are both nuts about Star Wars. I'd hate to get them in there to build it and then find out that the end price is $70 for each of them.... !

Last year ( october)when i was there it was 19.99 for all the pieces you needed. You could wven do a double lightsaber like darthmal(SP?).
