Help! I'm freaking out. I just found out that scattered storms are scheduled during my entire trip this upcoming week!!!! Any suggestions on what to do? Which park would be best to visit on a rain-filled day?? HELP!!!!!!!!

the fl summer consists of daily showers/"storms"... clears up in less then a couple of hours (usually)

we just put on our ponchos at WDW & kept on going

we were lucky when we went to UO in may- we didn't have a drop of rain

don't let the rain spoil your trip- you will still have a great time- how can ya not...you're in orlando:tongue:

If there is no lightning, you should be able to do IOA, and still have fun.

In the event of lightning, though, do US. Most attractions are indoors (Shrek, Jimmy Neutron, Twister, Earthquake, MIB, BTTF, ET, Terminator, HMS). You may want to wear a poncho to get from one attraction to another. During a thunderstorm, we usually see a Horror Make-up Show (or two, depending on the severity of the storm). During a storm is also a good time to have your meal (La Bamba is right across the street from the HMS, so we sometimes make a dash for it after the show lets out.)

We never let the rain ruin our trip. Besides, it cools things off a bit!

It is rare to have a rain filled day. The afternoon thunderstorms are scattered. You can see them coming. I watched IOA clear out one afternoon and the rain didn't last 15 minutes.

We just got back from Universal yesterday and we had showers every afternoon. It really didn't last long and we were able to enjoy the parks afterwards.

One night it really poured for a few hours so we just went back to the hotel and rested up for the next day.

It really won't affect your stay :)

We had overcast skies with some light rain at times to an occasional downpour that didn't last that long. It kept the heat down. I thought that I would be disappointed NOT having the blaring sun beating down on me in high 90's. I was wrong. Rain will not stop you from having a good time.

Yeah, it rains every day, most of the times, very shortly tho. One night It was raining bad so we went to the hotel, and just hung out and ordered pizza, so if worse comes to worse, just rest up for a while, and head back when its nice again.

We were there last week and had scattered/isolated showers. It was great. It kept us well cooled and none of the attractions closed. We said we liked it better this way. I would rather be wet from rain than sweat.
