HELP ASAP Re Free Dining Code for Disney visa

They told me I could pay the balance with another card and not have to use the Visa-just fyi. I booked a separate ressie for my sister and they were fine with just the deposit.

Your right. Sorry Disney but $500.00+ is just too much for what will be a 1/2 day after we check in. My DW and I can't justify that so it will be room only for day 1.

Check out the new room-only discounts for fall. You should be able to get a room for $89.

I just checked and the Family Suites are incuded, but the rate is $210 per night- and it is available the night of 11-8.

I checked out the rates on Disney's website. It doesn't say they apply to the Deluxes (except Villas), but when I checked some dates for AKL, the rate with the code was almost $600 less than rack for 4 nights. Now, that's a nice discount!

I agree. You could always do mini golf, pools, CM/dinner @ a resort, head over to AK lodge & do story time at the firepit, etc. Just pay for the one night room. Save yourself a bunch of extra money.

I know what you mean - I finally got airfare on Southwest for about $218 RT, with all taxes, etc. I'm going to keep checking, but that may be the best I can get.

After seeing the reduced rates at AKL, I called this morning to check on a Disney Visa free dining package. The total for 4 nights (12/18-22) with free dining and a one-day base ticket each was $1364. When I checked the rack rates with a one-day ticket and no dining, the cost was $1916. So, I got free dining and a savings of $552 off the room rate!!

This is a total savings of $1150 - not that I would have ever paid $2524 for 4 nights in the first place. In fact, the rate I did get is kind of high, but this is a combined Christmas present for the family and birthday presents for me and my DD.

Okay, now that I've read this thread I want to know what happened to the OP! Did you get things all fixed? What happened and how much lower was your bill?

Most people don't know this but it is possible to get your tickets ahead of your package stay! I JUST DID IT! You have to go the the park and get someone there to do it. Just have your info ready and go to the window at MK or another park and ask for a supervisor if that CM hasn't a clue what you mean. So buy the tickets for X amount of your total stay. (Since you have room only on day one) Then go get your tickets early and start using them right away. Have fun!
