help - arriving a day early

Rent a car from Alamo. Spend the day at Universal. Get a cheap room off property for the night. Alamo lets you return the car at WDW with no fee. Then they drive you to your resort for free. Also rake the car into town before checkin and load up on water bottles food and snacks. Have fun.

Thanks. Arriving on a Sat night so won't be going to universal.

If you are flying, book at night at the airport hotel. Or book a value or moderate resort. Or book something offsite at DTD.

I did this once, so I booked a room at all star sports just for budget purposes before going to the poly. (actually it was new years eve, went to poly on Jan 1....all stars was like 150 for 12/31....poly was like 650)

Since I was on site I used magical express to get to the world

I used the car car center for rental car for rest of the stay

We like to take our 1st evening and head to DTD. My kids think the Fork & Screen theater there is too cool! Actually, so do I :)

And now you also have the Bowling Alley that everyone is talking about... relax and enjoy downtown for the evening

Thanks everyone. I do have a room booked for that first night. I thought it would be at CSR but decided on POP instead.

I was wondering how to get the meal plan for breakfast on Sunday morning. I was trying to figure out the best way to get to BC that first morning (to check in and get the meal plan credits) from POP and then go back to POP for breakfast. I think it will just be a big hassle so will pay oop for breakfast.

Also something that is new at WDW is they are checking you have checked out of you first room before they let you check in to your second so you couldn't leave anyone sleeping and go check in like some people used to do.

That is what I would like to do. But it is not practical. Thanks again.
