Help AP rookie

After reading so much about AP's we are taking the plunge. Mostly just because we are staying so long. I do have some questions I'm hoping can be answered.

I know I can order the AP from CRO but we will be checking in very late at night in Feb. so parks won't be open. Can I show them my info. without the actual pass being activated ? ( I'm hoping to be able to get some type of discount)

Last year we had a LoS pass that was also our room key and card we used for the FP. Is that what an AP is as well?

If there is any other Info on how a AP works I would love to know.

Hi!

Our vouchers were not activiated when we checked in, and at no time since we have been going we been asked to present them at check in.

We have always arranged our passholder rates prior to our arrival with CRO.

You will receive a room key just like you have in the past, and you will use your actual AP for park entry and fast pass. It is made from a very durable plastic coated paper.
