I am planning for my hubby's and mine 30th wedding anniversary in December 2013. We are planning to stay at GCH and be at DLR for either 8 or 9 days.

I noticed that the highest park hopper is for 5 days. I am wondering if I should just buy APs or buy two park hopper tickets.

We would be arriving around 5pm on 12/26/13 and possibly leaving either 1/4/14 or 1/5/14.

I know that we will probably want to visit the park the night we get in even if its just to walk around main street.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Minjo

Though you can only purchase up to a 5 day pass, you can add additional days (up to 8 days total) for $5/day.

Honestly I think it's too early to decide on that sort of thing. A year and a half is a long time and their policies and prices will likely change. The APs jumped in price massively this year and who knows what they'll do next year. I would also wait and see if they continue the $5/day extensions on the hoppers.

Thanks for the info...what I am wondering is - is it worth it to buy the park hoppers or just go for the AP and get the discounts.

In 2003, we got APs for the 5 of us because it was a better deal than getting the 8 day park hopper then.

Just wondering if it would be worth it again. Or, would it be worth it for just one person to get it and get park hoppers for the other two.

I would call hotel reservations and ask what rate you get with an Annual Pass. It could be nearly enough to cover the cost of on AP considering that it's peak season at the GCH.

Though for a second AP it may not be worth it since it just takes one to get the discounts. Just make the one who gets the AP the one who pays the bills.

Thanks Skiifast....I know its early but I need to start saving for our trip. I know at this point most of it will be estimates but its a starting place.
