Help annual pass vs hopper pass?

hi were going to disney in nov/dec 07 for 14 days we are staying at the windsor hills we are undecided on buying 10 day hoppers one annual pass to help pay for parking and save on dinners or all 10 hoppers. we have three children 6,3,2 and are going with my inlaws and a sitter. any suggestions? thanks denise

With an AP you do get free parking, but you only get a discount on lunches at some restaurants, not dinner. If you purchase an AP and then buy a Disney Dining Experience Card (you must be an AP holder or a Florida resident to purchase it), you get 20% off at most table service restaurants in WDW. The DDE card is really great if you like sit down restaurants, 20% food and alcohol. I would recommend writing down how much it would cost for just hoppers versus hoppers and an AP.

DH and I are trying to figure out if buying an AP would be good for us too. We are going to be down there in October for 6 days and then again in January for 10 days. Plus I figured if we get the AP I could get DH down there easier for at least one extra trip!! We would not buy APs for the kids as they wont be coming with us in October I don't think we would need the extra dining. We don't like to have big sit down dinners too often during the trip. The only one that we are having in October for sure will be at CRT for our anniversary

The price diff between a 10 day hopper and an AP is ~$100. For 10 days, the free parking alone offsets this.
