help!!!! alamo parkhopper

i just called the alamo# listed to buy park hoppers-
i was told that i could not purchase the tickets if i did not rent a car from them????

help????
 
Call again and get another agent..thats not true from past history posted on here
 
I too agree about the agent. Call back and try again, if you aren't able to purchase without a car reservation, reply here so that others will know. Good Luck.

I just called within the half hour and stated I wanted the 3 day hopper offered through Alamo. There was no mention of renting a car, she took my info and is sending them out.
 

I ordered 3 day hoppers last month without a problem. I was not even asked if I was renting a car. Hope they haven't changed their policy. Definately call again and ask again. 1-800-560-2397
 
How much is the 3 day park hopper? We are using old tickets but need just a couple more days. These would be perfect!

I just ordered these tickets about an hour ago. They never asked if I was renting a car!!
 
Thanks everyone! I just called since the 'rumor' of price increases is starting to circulate, I figured I better make a decision now. I would just kick myself if they were higher next week and I didn't order and they are good forever, so I went ahead.

This works out perfectly for our plans for this year since we have decided to try Blizzard Beach for the first time. We have 2 days for September when we go and 2 day for December when we go (after our Disney Cruises each time).

I had no problems with my order, sounded like I was talking to a 'Disney' person not an Alamo person. They didn't question me on renting a car or anything. Just took my order and said they would be here in 14 days.

I called this morning and was told I had to rent with Alamo, so I hung up and called again. Of course I got someone else. That person told me that you had to be referred by Alamo and since I got that number then obviously I have been referred. I ordered 3 tickets. I suggest calling saying you were "referred by Alamo."
The number I called was 1-800-560-2397.

I think it is actually a 'Disney' person that answers too, at least that is the impression that I got. Anyway, I too suggest that if you get someone that says 'no' to just call back again. The gentleman that helped me was very nice.

You were talking to a "Disney" person. Alamo pays for that line and it goes into a "special" Disney office for Alamo ticket purchases.
 
oh this was so helpful, I'm calling the number, I've tried other places with no luck!
 
When I called I didn't even mention Alamo. I just called the number and said I was interested in Disney Tickets. I had a wonderful women who asked me how many days I wanted to visit the parks. I told her 3 (knowing which ticket I already wanted). She said that would be great because they had a wonderful promotion through Alamo. Never asked me about a car or anything. I never even mentioned Alamo though. I ordered a week ago. I'm still waiting, I just wish they'd get here (I'm impatient). I'm just stressing they won't get here before I leave, and I don't have the money to buy the whole family new tickets.
 
I ordered mine one week ago today (Feb. 13th) and they haven't arrived yet (but they said I would have them by Feb. 27th, so that is another week away). I will let you know when mine come. Did they give you a date by which to expect them?

I just bought mine on 2/14. I was told 7 business days and I was given a tel. no. to call if I don't recieve them by the beginning of March. Apparently after you purchase them from that tel. no. it is then transfered to Ticket Mail Services and all communication is then between them and you.

I was told 7 to 14 days. I just ordered mine on 2/13. I'll call them if I haven't gotten them by March 1.
 
Ordered them on Feb. 12. I received them on Feb. 17 via DHL. I live in Québec. Very fast delivery.
