HELP! Airport delays/cancellations, is it a domino effect?

My brother is scheduled to land in Boston Sunday morning at 7:10am...if Friday/Saturday has the airport messed ip because of snow/ice. could that affect his flight?

Yes it could. Sometimes you may be delayed where the weather is fine but the plane is coming from another place where the weather isn't so good.

But just as easily, it might not. No sense in getting stressed about it, as it's totally out of your control. You didn't mention where he was coming from - is he on a red-eye from the West Coast (that arrival hour is pretty atrocious!) by any chance? In my experience with Logan, those flights will rarely be cancelled unless the weather is actively bad bc they have so few landings at that hour. I also saw that the Boston area is only going to get about 4-6 inches so it hopefully won't gum things up all weekend.

LOL! Yes, he gets on in Oakland, CA at 10:25 Saturday night.....arrives Boston 7:10Am Sunday morning.

I so hope the weekend is not messed up because of the storm.
