Help-Advice Needed-Re:Mother

We went on vacation with my father and step mom in the fall and as much as i love and get along with them at home, I can not vacation with them. My suggestion would be if your mother were to come along that you all get your own rooms. That way if you need the space or the break you can have it. I've just come to realize that my husband and I are used to each other and our family has our own routines, and ways we like to do things. Now don't get me wrong we had a nice vacation just we are looking forward to just the four of us this year. At times we felt we just wanted to see the kids look on their faces when they experienced Disney for the 1st time, with very doting grandparents it wasn't always us who got to see it 1st. Forgive me if I sound selfish. We shared a suite and drove 22hr in the same vechicle so we didn't really have time to ourselves, separate rooms might have been wiser, but we were trying to save costs. Maybe you need to sit down and let your mom know how you feel before you go. Anyways good luck in making your decision whatever it may be, you're not alone. :grouphug:

I am the sort of person that can't say no and I would rather put up with the comments and make it as happy a trip as possible WITH dear old mom.

I tend to want no regrets when there comes a day that I wish she was still here, ugly comments and all. :confused3
