Help! Adding someone to dining reservations

I just tried to call and add an additional person to my dining reservations. I have had the reservations set for 2 people since the 90 mark and now I am 12 days out. I was able to shuffle 3 of the 9 reservations to get him in. There are no openings, at any of the restaraunts on three other days the day we will be in that park. What do I do? I understand and accept I probably will not be able to get him in at CRT but really there are no openings the entire day at the parks!? Any advise?

On a side note, I had set up dinner at 1900 Park Fare previously and just now on the phone with a CM (who was very rude and acted very put out when I asked her to see if any restaraunt was open on certain days in a park) that the previous CM had booked it for the wrong day even though we had methodically went through the list of reservations! At least I found out now while I have time to try and fix it.

Going from a 2 top table to a three is quite difficult. It may be that you are out of luck at those restaurants. I would keep calling every day and check availablility. Could be that something opens up. Check resort rstaurants too.

We'll probably be in the same situation. My mom may be joining us, but she likely won't know for sure until after the 90-day mark. I'm thinking about just making our ADRs for 5, then changing them to 4 if she doesn't end up going. I'm guessing it's easier to do that than to add a person, right? Or I guess my other option is just to show up and say one person won't be there, but I hate to take a larger table than we need...

You are better off the add in an extra person from the begining but if you call back to change the party size they cancel the existing ADR and book a new one, if available.
