Help! Activities outside the 4 parks?Clubs in DD?

I have a few down days in our itinerary so I would like to go see some things like the Boardwalk, some clubs in DD, etc..

We have our van so can I drive down to visit the Boardwalk and park there, no, so how would we go visit there?

Clubs in DD, we have our children (ages 12 & 9) so are they allowed in during the day or early evening??

We would like to walk around ASMo because my son loves the Mighty Ducks and we would like to take photos, how do we get there if we are not staying at the resort?

As far as getting to BW and other hotels (other than driving) you can take any bus to a park or DD and and then take that resorts bus (repeat, in reverse, to get back). You should be able to drive and park as long as you tell them you are just visiting. I think they have visitors parking passes.

I'd recommend Adventurers Club in DD. Some of the humor might fly over their head, but I saw other pre-teenish age children there last time I was there and it's always a good time

You shouldn't have a problem driving to the Boardwalk or the All Stars and just telling the gate guard you want to look around. The Boardwalk wants people to use their restaurants and shops so not a problem. At the All Stars, just tell them what you want to do - you'll be directed to the Movies (the last one).

The clubs at Downtown Disney are not open during the morning or afternoon. They kick up towards the evening hours. There's not a problem with kids being in the clubs (although there are a few that will have a 21 and over policy). Just be aware that the humor can tip the scales a bit. Nothing overtly sexual but it can get a bit much. Especially the later the hour.
