Hello - we are going to Disney in December as a group of 12. We decided to do Character breakfasts for our kids, the boys are going to Chef Mickey's at 9:55 a.m., the girls are going to the castle for breakfast w/ the princesses at the exact same time, 9:55 a.m. We are then going to meet up somewhere towards the entrance of MK. My question is, we are driving to the parks (staying off-site), and I have no idea how we're going to work out getting both groups to their restaurants at the same time. I know from looking at a resort map that the Contemporary isn't far from MK, so that's good - but do we have them drop us at MK then drive over to the Contemporary for their ressie? Or can they go ahead and park at the MK lot, and get to the Contemporary for Chef Mickey's from there? I am just not sure what is the best way to get us both where we need to go. :confused3

Can anyone help?!

Thank you in advance! :goodvibes

Park at MK and whom ever is going to Chef Mickey's can either walk to the Contemporary or take the monorail one stop over.

I'd take the monorail...

I would park at the TTC and ride the monorail over to both. One to the CR and the other to MK.

I must ask, is both ressies under the same name and phone#? Is so you need to change one, as the system or an CM may think you are double booking. Just being on the safe side, would hate to hear of you losing one or both of them.

You won't be able to drive up and drop people at MK. All dropoffs and parking for MK are at TTC.

There are two ways to do this - park at TTC and both parties ride the monorail to their respective destinations, or park at Contemporary and the MK party walks or rides the monorail to MK. You might, however, run into a situation where the Contemporary gives out a 3 hour parking pass, so you couldn't leave the car there and go to MK afterward.

Thank you everyone for your advice! I think we will just go ahead and park at the TTC and go to our separate places from there. That seems easiest :thumbsup2

Also - thank you Nadjalu - I had not given any thought to the fact that our reservations are at the same time under the same name. Top that with, there are 12 people total in our trip, 6 girls and 6 guys...so both our reservations are for 6 ppl too. Yikes! :scared1: Unfortunately, I called the reservation number and the CM told me they can't change the name on the reservation, and she didn't want to cancel it and try to re-reserve it again just incase we would lose it. I'm not sure what to do :confused3 She said just to call in again a few days before the trip and make sure it still shows in there. Great...that's taking a big chance I would think?! Should I try to call back in and see if there's anything else they can do...add a note in the reservation or anything?

I would call back and ask again. If you get the same response ask for a supervisor and then explain your concern.

There should be some way to put on there that it isn't a double booking and that the party is splitting for this meal.

If not that I would call every few days until you go and just check them. That way if something happens and the cancel them you can jump on it quick.

Good luck!!
