Help!! (about guys)

Okay this might be kinda long but I'm really confused so bear w/ me...

Okay so there's this guy at school, he's 2 years older than me, and we don't really know each other, but I know who he is and he knows who I am because we're both in marching band. so we had never really talked or anything, and then last week he like started flirting w/ me... just stuff like purposely standing in my way so I have to ask him to move. And he's tall enough that his chin just fits over the top of my head, so he would like stand behind me until I noticed he was there. Then on thursday when I was getting my clarinet out of my band locker, he took my friend's flute and walked away w/ it. (we share band lockers) after a few minutes he brought it back over and started asking me about whose it was, then he just put it back in the locker. Then that afternoon I saw him in the hall, and he stopped and was like "Hi, how are you" and it kind of took me by surprise because he had never really talked to me before. So I was just like "Hi," and then we both walked away. So I was starting to wonder what was going on but then on Friday night at the football game he just totally ignored me. He walked right past me like a million times but never said or did anything. And he pretty much ignored me today too.

So now i'm really confused. But the thing is last week I sorta started to like him (well actually I REALLY started to like him) and I don't know if he figured that out and he doesn't like me so he stopped flirting? Or maybe he wasn't trying to flirt at all, he was just trying to be nice or something? I don't know and it's really bothering me! So what do you guys think?

Ok I'm going to take the big brother role here. Watch out for older guys! lol I'm serious. Sounds like he's playing games with you. But mabey he was just saying hi. Ya know.......I say hi to lots og girls everyday...........and girls say hi to me everyday. I only wish that meant they liked me but it doesnt! lol But older guys like to do stupid stuff..........i.e. making bets on girls kinda like horses(I'll let you guess what guys bet on.......). Theyre not all nice like me

But seriously, like in my personal experiences of being a teenage girl (lol) guys are totally like indecisive and are absolutely oblivious to everything (Juliana can tell you about that haha ) but like, JMO, but it DOES sound like he likes you, so I'd just kinda flirt back for the next week or so and see what happens- but also, find out what he's done, who he's been with, who his friends are- after all, like DisJosh said, we don't want you getting in trouble with some weird older guy!

Ok I'm also gonna warn you about older guys.
My ex-boyfriend is 2 years older than me but at the time we started dating i was 15 and he had just turned 18 (it's how the bdays are arranged or something). We met at a music festival and exchanged numbers. He lived 45 minutes away, different school and everything. We met in february and then lost contact until September when he called and we started talking. We started dating in October and he started saying that he loved me and couldn't wait to be with me and scary stuff like that. He was moving way too fast. So i had to break up with him but we're still friends.
Ok the point of the story is be careful with him and don't go on a date with him alone, go with a group of friends first.
And some guys are just jerks (no offense guys ) and pull a girl's chain for a couple of days and then become a jerk.
Guys are extremely confusing but i'm gonna stress it again: BE CAREFUL!

but personally...sounds like something that happened to me! with Alan! OMG! so he was liek all over around my birthday and then he stopped talking to me!! i was oh no!

well in Alan's case...he knew i liked him...i think he got scared of a commitment and backed off..he was liek im too busy right now for a girlfriend. so maybe thats it

or maybe hes just being a typical high school jerk...did you happen to tell anyone that you liked him? b/c things get around faster than you think!

i would jsut say to see how it goes this week and play it all by ear.

another thing i re-read some of it and if you acted like kinds weird by his hi in the hallway and stuff maybe he backed off b/c he doesnt think you like him in that way.

why do boys have to be sooo confusing?!?!

it either involves he found out you like him or he thinks you dont like him...LOL..that was a DUMB comment!

Okay... I don't think he likes me, but some of my friends were saying "oh yeah, he's totally flirting w/ you, he totally likes you" but they would probably say that no matter what so they wouldn't hut my feelings or anything. Also, I haven't known him for that long, but I do know that a lot of his friends are going out w/ or have gone out w/ girls younger than them and nothing bad has happened w/ that. So anywayz, the last few days he's kinda backed off but he's still acting really nice and stuff so I don't know. guys still confuse me!

Oh I know how you feel about that! Last year I was really hoping this guy liked me, but I kinda didn't think he did. But all of my friends kept telling me that it looked like he liked me and that he was always looking at me, but they were probably just saying that to be nice so I wouldn't feel bad about myself.
