Help! How do I cut and past a post to respond to it? I just tried and it didn't work!

Just click on the quote option just under the post. That will do it automatically for you.

Welcome. Hitting the quote button like Chellnjr said is one way (and the easier way), but you can cut what you want to cut, put [quote.] then paste what you cut, then put [/quote.] to finish it up (take out the .'s though).
