Hello all,
I have been to US/IOA plenty of times but have never stayed on property. We have a trip planned 8/1 - 8/7 and were going to stay offsite and do WDW for the 1st half of our trip. There are 4 adults and we were planning on getting one room at RPR for either one or two nights. I understand you can use FOTL pass the morning you check in (even if your room is not ready) as well as the day you checkout. We plan on getting to the resort around 10am...is something like that feasable? Also, I noticed the AAA rate is more than the $289/night directly through lowes. The AP rate is $240. Am I doing this correctly? I realize with 4 people the price goes up quite a bit but I read that people were getting rates under $150 at times. Do you have any other suggestions on how I can get a great rate? It would be the difference between spending 1 to 3 nights. Thank you so much

My rate for PBH late August AAA is $215. Their super saver rate is $229. Is it that much more in the beginning of August? :confused3

Does the $240.00 AP rate include taxes?

I just plugged your dates in and I am also getting an AP rate of $215.00 per night (not including the extra adults).

There is still the possibility that the rates may go down, but the first week of August is still somewhat busy. I believe that most schools don't resume until the following week. And didn't Florida just pass a new mandate that schools can't start before late August some time?

We live here in Florida and school starts August 20th this year.

I just checked the AMA rates (AAA affiliate in Alberta) and they are showing availability at the RPR for 191.20 - try checking your AAA rates through your local AAA site as I believe that Loew's is giving you rack rate at that time. If the difference in cost between AAA and AP is minimal, always go AAA so that you have LF benefits.
