Help! A limb fell into my climbing rose.

Yesterday we had a bad rain storm and a big pine limb fell into our climbing rose bush. Of course it hit a main branch that covers one side of the fence. It split pretty bad down the stem. Is there anything that I can do to save it? I took some ties and tied it back together until we could decide what to do. I'm afraid theres nothing we can do to save it. Its a shame too. It has loads of pretty pink roses in the spring.

I am not saying this will work but since you caught it right away wrap it tightly with duct tape.First hold it tightly together and dust with fugicide.Then wrap it tightly with the duct tape.Hopefully it will graft itself back together.
