Help a computer problem.

My cousin brought Defender Pro Anti-Virus/ Anti-spam software and it won't unstall. We have tried the Add and Remove Programs and that did not do it. Next we tried to do under where the programs at to the unstall that way. That Did not work it either.

This is a brand new program that she bought from Wal-Mart and it's not wotking right.

Now its tell us that program is stilling run and we can't reistalling it again until we unstall the program. We unstall the program. I don't unstall what's it talking about.

P.S. Don't all computer programs come with online regestion forms so registion the program.

The last thing I can think to is go into safe mode to unstall the program and I hate going into safe mode because I afraid i am mess up something.

Anybody has any sugguest on what to do. I am at a lost.

I never heard this software program before.

My DH says go into safe mode and uninstall it, try this first. If it doesn't work here, go to their website for instructions on uninstalling it. My DH suggests getting McAfee or Trend Micro anti virus software and not this no name stuff. Good luck.

It looks like I will have go into safe mode to unstall the darn program. Darn it i guess I have to do it the hard way.

I have Norton Internet Secuity on my computer. I also use Panda Activesacan and AVG Edtion on my computer at home.

My cousin bought the Anti-virsus program without my support and now she is having problems.

Do you have windows xp? Have you tried the system rollback and roll back before it was installed?
