Prawns are what they call salad shrimp or tiny shrimp, the peel & eat are much bigger 1 Oh how I remember the 7 Up /lemonade saga!! Try asking for Squash!!

Red Lobster calls them 'petite shrimp'. They're only 99 cents more if you want them on your salad.


What is Squash then? I'm assuming it's not zucchini or butternut squash.

. . . As a born and raise dBrit who has been in the states for over 30 years. I know how the language barrier can get you into trouble . . .

1) I travel frequently to Europe and the UK.
2) I agree with your statement.
3) Of course, I am still wondering Why Can't the English Learn How to Speak.

4) I know Brits who say,
. . . there even are places where English completely disappears;
. . . in America they haven't used it for years.

When I first came over here I was working at a doctors office one of the patients asked me where I was from and how long I had been here ! When I told him England and about 1 year He replied "You speak the language very well!!" No I'm not kidding!!
