Still looking for dinner reservations for Chef Mickey's on 9/17 between 5-6pm. I've been calling about 3 times a day, for the past couple of weeks and still no luck. I have dinner reservations for 4 at Concourse Steakhouse for 9/17 at 5:40pm if anyone's interested in trading? Someone sprinkle a little pixie dust on me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

While I do think everyone should do Chef Mickey's, I don't think its super cant be missed fantastic. So dont sweat it.

We like Liberty Tree Tavern better for charactures and Crystal Palace better for food and Wispering canyon more for fun. Try one or all of those.

I don't know if you'll still be there on 9/21, but but I cancelled a Chef Mickey's ressie for 5 people at around 8:30.

Like the OP said, LTT is AWESOME, so try for that one as a backup. Chef Mickey's is great too though, so don't give up hope. There is a thread on here about cancellations/trades in Sept., so it might not hurt to post there, too.

Good luck with your calls!!!!!

The first restaurant I ever ate in at WDW was Chef Mickey's, because of all the recommendations. We've been back to WDW 10 times and have not eaten there again. It was the worst meal we've had while at WDW. For all the hype, it was pure disappointment. I'd keep the other reservation instead and choose a different character meal sometime during your stay.

Just called and CM said they are going to do lunch at Chef Mickey's. She said they never do lunch. Is that true? Anyway, I made a reservation for lunch at 12:30. Will they serve the same food for lunch & dinner?

I had asked the same question last night. I was able to get CM on 9/19 at 1:30 for lunch. Another Dis'r said its the same menu as dinner.
