We are going to DL Dec 28- 31 (I swore I'd never go at this time but...it is her 2nd birthday as my daughter and her friend is coming out). My daughter's BD is the 30th. Since she is going to be 16 going on 45:rotfl2: the character meals are out and she is not interested in doing the Fantasmic dessert.

Anyone have any ideas for something special I can do for her birthday? BB is out since it is a long meal - she loves eating in the car:goodvibes.

We are staying off site somewhere, still trying to decide.

Thanks!!!!

I took my DD to Club 33 and Carthay Circle Theater for her 16th.....but it sounds like you want something easier so why not consider something off site?

Big Thunder Mountain BBQ? It's a sit down meal, but includes entertainment, so, multitasking ftw.

You might see if the Cold Stone on Harbor has ice cream cakes--you could get one and take it back to your hotel if it's close by. Also, she might like the Mad T Party at California Adventure, which is kind of a steampunk rave. You could get a volcano at the Rainforest Cafe, or get a birthday cupcake at one of the park bakeries.

thanks for the replies. Do you know if they can do something for her BD at the BBQ?

I forgot about Cold Stone - thanks.

Carthay Circle is a nice restaurant for a special occasion but it is on the fancier side. Have you looked at the restaurants off site in the Garden Walk? Roy's has great food and there are more casual options like Bubba Gump and PF Chang.

Thanks! Any ides if any of these will sing Happy Birthday to her? We were at Red Robin where they brought a sunday and sang. She thought it was "cool".

No singing at CCT or Club 33, but she did get special desserts from both and we saw Mickey & Pluto who made a huge deal out of her birthday button (at Club 33 on Sundays Mickey & Pluto do a quick stop at each table).
Any of the off site places are likely to do a birthday song for her.

I don't know about BTR BBQ, you may have to call Disney dining. I don't see why not though.
