Help! 11 DD has been in pain for 12 days

My DD has been tired and muscle/joint pain and headache for 12 days.
The docyors first thought she had fifth disease /Parvo D virus.
Tomorrow we are taking her to a rhumeutorod arhrithis specialist.
It's horrible to see your child in pain and you can't or know what to do about it

Has she been tested for lyme? It can manifest itself in many different ways.

My DD was sick in December tired and terrible headache... motrin or tylenol wouldn't help... it ended up being Mono. Have the doctors out ruled that.

It was killing me when she was in so much pain.

I am sorry to hear your daughter is not feeling well. My 12 yo nephew had terrible pain in his hip joints. It was so bad he ended up in the emergency room twice. The first time he was misdiagnosed. The second time they figured out that he had an infection in his hip. They actually had to drain fluid from his bones. It was very strange. Get to a doctor and don't settle with "take some Advil". Children that age don't experience that kind of pain unless there is a reason. I hope you can get some answers.

I hope they can figure it out quickly for you. My DD11 has been having the same symptoms plus hard nodules and lumps on her hands, elbows, knees and forhead and lips, weight loss, hair loss. This has been going on since July and we still don't have a definitive answer despite seeing many drs. and specialists. I feel for you, I really do. It's a helpless feeling when they hurt bad and you can do nothing to make it better.

I had that for 2 days and boy did it sink..I just took alot of hot, long baths.
