helmet camcorder for snowboarding gopro or epic

So i see they have a "gopro wide angle action video" and a "epic action sports video" out there anyone seen any good deals and have any opions on them. Costco had the gopro but there all gone as i called. does anyone have one at theres? thanks I was thinking my son might like this. We can also use it on the kayak this summer. thanks Mum
