Hi,
I am new to this board. My family and I took our first trip to Disney World during the week between Christmas and New Years Eve. We booked the vacation in October and planned like crazy. We had an amazing time!! We were able to book the Tomorrowland Dessert Party, Akershus breakfast, Crystal Palace lunch, Candlelight Procession and BOG lunch. We had afternoon FP+'s to all of our wish list items. I just want to thank everyone on this board for all your tips and experiences. I learned so much from you that I just know our vacation was wonderful experience thanks to you. I hope to provide my tips and experiences so others can have a wonderful experience. We are hoping to go back in a year or two around Christmas. :santa:

Sounds magical pixiedust: !! I hope to get BOG for our June trip.

Welcome!

How did you like the Tomorrow Land Terrace party? Was it worthwhile?
We are debating that or a fastpass for Wishes..

WELCOME!

pixiedust:

We got a FP+ for Wishes for our arrival night this past June 6th. It was awesome. We didn't worry about "wasting" a FP+ on a nighttime show because we knew we'd only get to enter the MK at night.

The viewing area is in the Rose Garden, and it was so nice to be able to sit on grass rather than stand on concrete. We were warned that we wouldn't be able to see the Castle projection show, but we had a nice view of it - there was a small tree obstructing part of it but we didn't care.

From this location Tinker Bell flies RIGHT OVER YOUR HEADS. Pretty awesome, especially for my little Tinker Bell nuts daughter.

We loved the dessert party. No crowds, relaxing atmosphere and good desserts. We were able to move to the railing before the start of the celebrate the magic show. We were also able to leave and go to the bathroom and come back to the same spot, that right there was worth it with small kids (they tend to go a lot and not at ideal times). View was good, but probably not as good from Main Street. We would definitely book this again (especially during busy times).
