Hello everyone. Just found this board a few days ago,and it has been very helpful. My wife,daughter(14) and I are planning a trip for the end October. I have been to DW once back in 1972 or 73 when I was 10-11 years old. I am sure a lot has changed since then. Lol

As others have said, a LOT has changed!

You want to begin by deciding on a resort. Take a look at www.allears.net and at the slide shows and fact sheets on the different resorts. There are 3 basic categories: Value, Moderate and Deluxe. All offer the same basic perks-- free ride to and from the airport, full access to Disney transportation and to Extra Magic Hours when the parks are open only to Disney resort guests, and the opportunity to get one of Disney's dining plans if you choose. They differ as far as location, ameneties and, of course, price.
