Ahh Man.... So just got an email saying Elvis Costello tickets go on sale next week... WHY MUST TWO OF MY FAV ARTISTS TOUR AT THE SAME TIME AND GO ONSALE THE WEEK BEFORE I LEAVE FOR THE STATES

i know when my daughter wants to stay home i always remind her that there will be no going out when friends call after school. and if it's close to friday there will be no going out over the weekend. that will usually make her feel better for some reason. But then she's one of those kids that always has a complaint about something hurting or not feeling well. And she gets mad when i don't react and she accuses me of not caring if she dies and whatnot. i asked her if she remembers the story of the little boy who cried wolf. yeah, that's her. if she was in serious pain, who would know?

OMG!! We have the same child!! Just different sexes. I feel your pain.

WOW hearing all these stories make me seriously 2nd guess having kids haha! I'll be scared when they get into their teens....

For all the bad moments there are so many good ones that out weigh the bad ones.

I love my kids. There are times when I have to go for a drive by myself, just so I can remeber what "quiet" sounds like. Monkey used to let out a high pitched scream when he was happy. My favorite times for those sceams were at the grocery store. I could hear people going "Oh man" and cringe. I would say (lound enough so they could hear me) it's not a library, scream again. He would giggle and belt out another. Once someone comment at the check out about his energy, about how he must be a handful. I tell them I would much rather have him run around, giggling and laughing, then have him be hurt or disabled. Little boys are supposed to run around IMO.

I couldn't agree more!! I always said that if my kids weren't noisy I would wonder what was wrong.
