I want a burger and fries so bad ... although DH's salmon with an orange relish, sweet potato and green beans wasn't too shabby ;)

At In N Out the only secret thing I do is I always get animal style because I like my onions grilled :thumbsup2 I want to order a neopolitan shake next time though.

I didn't like the relish they put on their burgers and the fries weren't very nice either :confused3

Have you ever had Sonic burgers and fries? They have tater tots. And they have the most unusual flavored shakes.

I've heard that from a lot of people. :) I like the relish and the fries are OK. You might want to try 5 guys when you're in Anaheim. I know a lot of people who don't care for In N Out, like 5 guys. I think they're both good, just different :) I liked the Cajun fries at 5 guys, those were spicy and yum!

Yes, I do. I have this recipe that I make called Sunday Sticky Chicken and it is along the same lines and it is one of those meals.

my husband kept talking up whattaburgers. well, we had them in Texas this past summer. I don't know, it was just a burger. nothing special. what makes a burger special? special sauce. what is special sauce? :confused3

I have never seen a Sonics, do they have them in Tulsa?

Yes, according to the search I just did on google yes they do.

They also have awesome drink flavors, like cherry-limeade.

I learned about that one from the DIS boards of all places :rotfl: All my years of going to In N Out, and I learned about the Neopolitan shake here :)

I so have got to try it now.

My favorite burger place is actually Whataburger. They make theirs soooo good, and they aren't greasy or messy. MMMM....lol

I agree. I think what I like about In N Out is the fresh meat taste, not frozen burger. And they use fresh potatoes not frozen.

yum, what is it? sounds good.

You flour, milk, flour your chicken and brown in. After it is all browned you put it back in the pan with milk and chicken broth. It makes it own gravy while it simmers. You serve with your potatoes and veggies. Of course you season the chicken when you brown it. Easy peasy.
