Good 'cause otherwise life is boring and I am just editing photos.

Honestly, we had less work last weekend but it was hard because I was trying to fix the mistakes of the previous weekend and at the same time I just felt off like I had no idea what I was doing. I'm thinking I'll be back in the swing of things tonight which will make it go smoother.

I sure hope so. I just don't think we're getting out at 5a again. But I don't want to be there until 6:30a. That 30 minutes is brutal. 6a I can do no problem.

I think that the one overnight a week is hard on your body because she just aren't used to it. Not that your body ever actually gets used to the overnight shift.

WBG worked the overnight shift for a few years when he first started working at the plant and it is an awful shift for someone who has kids.

Yeah, and having that week off between them was a little tough. But I need that. I've told my boss (well, Team Leader if you want to get technical) that I need to have more weekends off. Hopefully she'll follow through, although it may just be "tell me what weekends you want off and we'll go from there" kind of thing. Right now I only have the weekend off for the Girls Trip and then I'm hoping to get down to see Jason for V-Day, but that weekend I know I can't get off because one of the other overnight girls already got it off but I can do a Sunday through Tuesday morning kind of thing if I can get that Monday/Tuesday off.

I honestly hope to be out of there this summer. Or at least be in a new department.

The main thing is to get V day together. So it would work out for you. I hope you are at least in a different department. I know that you aren't happy where you are.

I do complain about it a lot? The funny thing is that I'm enjoying it more now than I have before because there's finally someone on my team that I really get along with. I never had that before.

But I really don't enjoy it in the sense that I can stand being there for much longer.

But maybe everything will work out and I will transfer stores and move to SoCal this year. I'm kind of terrified of our remodel this year!

I'm really keeping my fingers crossed about V-Day. I might just go ahead and request that Monday/Tuesday off if nobody else already has just to be sure I can do it. I dunno. We'll see.

It is a very popular holiday for people to take off. And a huge business day if you are a florist or a candy shop.

Speaking of candy shops, did you happen by the cupcake shop in DTD while you were there? I am interested in that place. At least from a window shopping position. Or buying as souvenirs to bring to WBG and the herd.

Sherry was saying there is a cupcake shop there now. I can't find it on the website but I do remember that she mentioned it. Now I am all confuzzled.

Well, I managed to find it on google. Google is my friend. It has a most original name, it is called "The Cupcake Shop" it is a kiosk, and if memory of DTD serves me right it is down by ESPN.

Ah, gotcha. I probably wouldn't have seen it even if I did hit up DTD other than WOD. I don't usually venture down quite that far unless I have a reason to, like going to GK or something.

I love DTD and I like to visit every nook and cranny. When we went in June the girls and I went into Vault Disney and they looked at the clothes. They had some cute stuff I didn't see elsewhere in the parks.

The Vault usually has a lot of the Disney Couture stuff. I would go insanely broke if I went in there again, I think I do enough damage everywhere else. But I blame that on Dooney & Bourke. I usually enjoy walking down DTD but I just didn't feel up to it this time.

Maybe in March. We shall see.

Almost, huh? I don't know if I could have gotten away with the almost. I have a spending problem at Disneyland sometimes. Mostly if I go into the shops in the first place.

She spent her money on candy to bring home and food. The only things that were purchased for her that were not food related were bought by me.
