Little Monkey is just under 4' and just turned 3. Thanks for all your help. We were planning on going to Kirkwood next weekend, just to play in the snow. While visiting my mom in the Trinity mountains over New Years, they both had a blast building snow men and making angels. I wanted to take them to the snow one more time before it melted. The whole family learning to ski sounded like a good idea in theory, but it looks like it's going to cost a small fortune.

Around 4' is the about the height you can get on a charilift by yourself which is why I asked. It does vary though because unlike the stable concrete around dumbo, snow can be moved so the height of a chairlift can go up or down a couple inches.

No doubt it is expensive, I look at my skis, trip to DL, I look at my boots, trip to DL, I look at my ski pass, trip to DL. But I think it is something everyone should try at least once. Much like going fishing, swimming in the ocean, canoeing, or camping. Not all of life takes place on asphalt and everyone should get at least a taste of the outdoors.

But if skiing isn't going to fit the bill, I bet you can find a plastic sled that will supply hours of fun sliding down a snowy hill.

That will help. Monday is not good for you and Wednesdays suck for me. So I guess that leaves Tuesdays and Thursdays. Because I know Saturday and Sunday do not work for you.

I can always do a Monday if I'm not working. I'll just switch my breakfast day with K to Tuesday. Had to this week because I'm doing lunch with my cousin tomorrow and couldn't do both in one day, lol.

I barely mentioned it. But turns out it was off for tonight. She kind of forgot and was out all day. Sooo ... I'm gonna bug her tomorrow, lol. Just wish she had remembered to fill me in earlier so I could have slept a little more.

It's all good about the hair though. She's doing this in her spare time apart from what she does at the Paul Mithcel School so I'm not too stressed about it.

Cool. I bet she will do a great job. I wanna do something different with my hair. I wanted to put purple streaks in my hair but, my bratty daughter told me I was too old.

i understand. but i think new hair color is so exciting. i color my own and i just try different colors. we have a beauty supply house that i use and they are really good about helping me with colors. i try and stay in the reds. i was blonde for years and realize i'm a little to old to be still trying to pull off the bleach blonde look.

It was good you noticed. I have seen quite a few women that haven't.

i want a stud in my nose. just a little one. i'm sure my daughter would try and talk me out of that as well.

I know she will. And I'm excited about it. We'll decide then and there how crazy I want to get with it. But we do have a general idea of what we're going for.

I grew up blonde and hated it. Especially as it started to get darker and it just always looked dirty which is when I decided to dye it. Found a golden brown that I adored but couldn't get it anymore after a while and settled on what I have now. But I've recently just wanted to try something that, to me, is a little more out there.
