Oh thanks Chrissie! Lol sorry I didn’t respond last night, I didn’t go back and read responses.

I don’t paint a whole lot, but when I do I enjoy it very much. I actually have an airbrush machine that I use to get the cool paint effects on ponies like that. :) I would be happy to make one for your daughter sometime! The only thing I would charge for would be the pony’s hair as that is what I have to order online :) I actually take a My Little Pony and completely strip it down lol I even take the hair out and put new hair in to match the paint job. :)

How many Ponies do you have? Is it a lot or do you restyle them on occasions?

Alright! I will let you know, I am currently working on one, so when I finish it you will be the next in line :)

I actually stumbled across a website where people customize them, they do some amazing work and I decided to give it a try and loved it! I've made around 5 or 6 so far, and sold them on Ebay :)

Sounds good! Let me know when your ready. Do you have photo's of the other's? I would love to see them.:goodvibes

I own a lot of ponies that I use for customizing purposes only. I am not sure how many there are, but I get a lot from 2nd hand stores in different poses...

And I customize them when I get the time to, they take a while to finish, some of them are sort of complicated with sculpting and everything.

For example I did these two after a pony in a video game:

And I sculpted everything on those ponies so they take up more time (I am currently working on another version of the above)

And some of them I just paint and put real hair in:

And Chrissie, I do think I have some more pics of my ponies at home on my laptop, I will upload them and show you when I get home :) :)

Those are very nice Laura. You do really good work. When you say sculpt, do you mean you move their legs around and their necks?

When I sculpt that means I do their hair and different things on them in a special air dry clay and then I paint over it. :) You can see that in the first two ponies. I had to sculpt all of the hair on their heads, hooves, and tails, and then I also sculpted the saddle and tack that is on her body. :)

It takes me a bit longer to do those because I do it in little bits to make sure it is smooth and it dries correctly. :thumbsup2

Wow, again Laura, very nice work! Can't wait to see the others!:thumbsup2

you just answered my question above. :)

LOL yep I sculpt pretty much everything. They start out looking like this:

And I remove the paint from their side, and their eyes, and take out the hair...

And then I customize them hehe
:)

And thanks very much! I am working on one right now and when I am finished with her I will post pics :)

Laura, those are SUPER cute! :)

Sorry guys - got behind and once again, no catch up :sad2: I spent this morning wrestling with school business and website. Fun times  Was supposed to karaoke tonight, but it got cancelled again. It got rescheduled to - get this - MARCH 11th :rotfl: How a bunch of women have such busy schedules, I have no idea. :snooty: Of course, I should talk. Tomorrow morning is a possible breakfast with some old friends, including one that's in town from AZ. Then the evening is a Buca di Beppo night with DH's fire station crew - we always do Christmas dinner in January :) Sunday is Chuck E Cheese party - not exactly looking forward to that one :rolleyes1

THANKS very much!!

Wow these boards are SUPER slow today aren't they? :sad2:

Just out of curiousity, what does a haircut cost in Australia? I am paying $44 to get my haircut. It keeps going up. And I know men haircuts are usually less then ladies.

I know haircuts are expensive for girls lol It sucks :( I want to get my hair highlighted so badly but it would cost me around $80 and I just can't spend that on my hair right now haha

I know it's so exspensive. I have been grey since my early 30's. So i color my hair once a month. I used to pay someone to do it and it was like $130.00. And I would put it off till I couldn't stand my grow out. I went to our local beauty supply store and the women there were very helpful with helping me get the stuff to color my own hair. I can now color my own hair for around $8.00. And I like it because I can change my color whenever I want. And I don't feel bad because I didn't pay a fortune for it. Laura, it is so easy to color your own hair, I would reccomend you give it a shot. It is so much cheaper.:thumbsup2

But you are right. Highlights are exspensive and much harder to do. I'm not sure if I could do that on my own.

It was $14 to get Monkey's hair cut at Supercuts. I printed out a picture of Ashton Kutcher's hair cut for the lady to follow. She did a good jog:thumbsup2

So, member yesturday I said it was a possibility for an October Disneyworld trip? So it's a definate, we are on for WDW!!! And to make things better, I have a brother who is a FL resident and in the military. He's more than happy to let me use him to bring our costs down. He was saying he got a 6 person suit for $55 a night.

can you legally do that?

Not sure about the tickets, last I heard the military guy had to be one of the persons in attendance at the park. For a hotel, very much aloud. The hotel wants the name of the persons staying in the hotel and money. I don't think this was a Disney hotel.

On both of these notes. Regarding haircuts I have always been curios what it cost for a haircut on Maintstreet USA MK?

Is it possible for a family member to book a room in SOG or purchase park tickets if the family member isn't visiting with you?
