YEP! You guys got the right shows! I watched 1900 house and Regency House and Frontier House. Frontier House was my favorite by far...I also loved Regency House because I am completely in love with that period in time, but there was just something so interesting about taking regular people and making them see what settlers had to go through. The Clune family was so spoiled they had a hard time coping with things, they were sort of annoying to me lol but everyone else was so great to watch...

I am renting it and watching it again for sure. If you guys haven’t seen it, it is so worth a watch.

Have you seen the post apocalyptic ones on the Discovery Channel? It is real interesting. Especially how deeply the people fall into it.

I have! I may even done this myself. Does losing your hot water for 7 weeks with two teenage girls count? We had to schedule showers every Wednesday and Saturdays and I had to boil a pot of water to do the dishes. Last September to November we had a hot water leak in our cement slab. I felt like I was pioneering it. Never thought I would hear my 15 year old say, "When can I take a shower?" Ah good times.

I will definitely tell you how it turns out.

You poor thing with the hot water. That has to have been crazy.

I bought some dansko's last year. I'm sorry they are not the most comfortable pair of shoes. I have been having pain in the side of my heel on my right foot since i have been wearing them. On the weekends when i wear my New Balance, pain goes away. so, i'm guesiing it's the shoes.

i found some really cute croc sandals i wore this past summer on our vacation. Still could not wear them all day in DL. I had to resort back to my New Balance once again. They are the most comfortable tennis shoe there is. But the sandals are really cute, i got them in pink and black.

Oh how crazy - last year around this time, our hot water heater broke and then there was a dispute between the manufacturer, insurance, and multiple repair guys. End result was that we were out of hot water for about 3 weeks. It.was.awful. I can't imagine 7 weeks

So plans for a trip to Disneyland in March are a definite yes!!! As long as plane fares don't go up by the end of the month when we are ready to book! I so hope they don't.

Right now the cheapest, closest place we have been able to find is a Motel 6 on Disney Way for $80 a night. Has anyone stayed here? I've read some good and bad reviews about it, and it seems ok. It's just for sleeping anyways.
