Hello All,

I was active on the DIS many years ago (before 9/11). Since then my kids have grown, my then-spouse and I have divorced (five years now), I've moved to a new city and I am now in a new relationship. Turns out the man I am dating is a Disney fan and we are now planning a trip to Disney World in June.

This will be my sixth (or is it seventh?) visit to WDW. We will be staying at the Dolphin. (Since introduced to it by the DIS, I've always stayed at the Dolphin.) It's going to be great.

So here I am, looking for insights on Disney-without-kids. But I may drop into discussions about Disney with kids since that is what I know best.

Hiya and welcome to the DIS!! Have a magical trip in June!! :goodvibes

Thanks all for the welcome. I'm getting more and more excited. We have the hotel reservations (Dolphin) and arrival/departure planned, so what remains now is the fun choices of where to eat and what to do.

I'm thinking one of the Fantasmic dinner deals will be good, since SO hasn't seen Fantasmic (I have). Is the Fantasmic reserved seating for those who do the dinner deal any good? Or would we be better off with the regular lines?

If one of the restaurants that is in the package interests you, I would probably do it. The lines for Fantasmic can be ridiculous!

That's what I thought. But I notice that they are only doing Fantasmic two or three times a week. The last time I was there, they were doing it every night. So I wondered if people had just lost interest.

We'll try for Hollywood and Vine, which I liked the last time (Christmas 2000) we did the Fantasmic pkge. Thanks for the reply.
