I know it is a lot - and yet we've never been on Dumbo or Orbitron :rotfl2:

We've ALWAYS stayed in Disney hotels, usually Cheyenne (I really love this hotel, really well themed isn't it?) or Santa Fe (not so greatly themed, but cheap and cheerful and the beds are sooo comfy!!), and we've stayed in Newport Bay Club once - but the light curtains woke me up at dawn which was a wee bit annoying!

I've been going with my mum since I was 7, and we've just booked a 4night/5 day deal today for the 10th of May, and we're taking my younger cousin for her Xmas present - very belated but worth the wait I think!!

I can't wait, I've got a lot of work on at the moment and this really gives me something to work towards, and I usually reward myself after a long hard day by sticking on a Disney DVD - is anyone else excited about the Peter Pan special edition on Monday?!

I'm so excited about the 15th anniversary this year, how time flies eh!

Hope you're all well and thanks for the lovely welcome!

well hello there and welcome, I hope you have a great time in may and although i've been going to disney for about the last 10 years, I don't think i've ever been on those either.

i think you and i are definitely from the same planet!
i have to confess that altho i have been on dumbo before, i have never been on orbitron either! but as it seems like my boyfriend will be taking me for my 21st i really want to try and do all the things i've missed out before because of lack of time or no one else wanting to do it. so orbitron it is!
i love popping on a disney dvd wen ive had an exhausting day at uni, nothing quite like it. i watched Cars yesterday for the first time (never got the chance wen it was in the cinema) and i loved it!
now uve mentioned peter pan, i think that might be the dvd of choice tonight!
we've also always been cheyenne fans - definitely the best for theme! and such good value. i do love the slightly more expensive ones too (went to hotel new york with the boyf at xmas a year ago and loved every minute)
look forward to hearing more from you on the site

Hi! :)
We've been waiting for this to come out as its my daughters favourite disney film. Sadly it wasn't quite out in time for her birthday but buying it when we come home from our trip will be a bit of a 'pick us up'.
I just wish they'd get a date finalised for the tinkerbell film

Oh Raci you must be so excited, only two days to go!! Who are you going with? You will have such a good time, as I'm sure many other members have probably told you!

Tigerlily - great to hear I'm not a freak as some of my fellow uni mates would have me believe! I must ask - did your boyf enjoy DLP? I'd love to take mine but I worry he wouldn't enjoy himself...as if that's actually possible! I'd love to check out HNY and Sequoia Lodge, but I don't know if we spend enough time at the hotel to justify it - but they are both gorgeous!

I'll need to get one of those countdown things, I can't wait to go again :cheer2:

We leave at 11.30 tomorow morning :woohoo: and arrive at DLP Sun lunch.
I'm going with my daughter and a friend and her son.

But the packing :scared: I just can't get it all in the suitcase, so I'm taking a break :rolleyes1 might be another 2am pre-holiday mad rush :sad2:

And now back to the excitement :cheer2: :yay: :cheer2: :yay: :cheer2:

He LOVED it wendybird. he's a sports degree student, so disney isnt exactly his usual scene, altho he's happy to sit down every now and then if hes in a soppy mood to watch it. but yes, he loved every minute, we had a wonderful time. especially as it was at xmas. and it just felt really romantic too, we were in a world of our own! definitely do it with ur boyfriend, i can guarantee even if he's a little apprehensive he'll enjoy it wen he's there.
mine is now taking me back for my 21st in december without even asking!yay!

Hi wendybird7 - 25 times, I'm going to tell DH stop moaning.
Welcome to DIS.

So far NPB has been my favourite, followed by the Cheyenne - I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.:thumbsup2
