I guess I should stop lurking and say hi to all you wonderful, talented designers! My name is Suzanne and I am going to WDW in October courtesy of Make A Wish for my 6 year old DD, Michelle. I also have a 3 year old DS, Ian. He'll be 4 in a couple of weeks, September 11. Anyways, Michelle was diagnosed June 1, 2005 with Aplastic Anemia, which bascially means her body wasn't making any blood cells. She survived with red blood and platelet transfusions, lots of hand washing to keep down germs, hope and prayers. We tried drug therapy which didn't work and had to go to a bone marrow transplant. She had her BMT November 11, 2005. We live in California but decided to have the transplant in Wisconsin which means we were separated from DH and DS for 9 months. They each came out to visit, but it wasn't the same. As of now, she is doing pretty good, just started first grade and is loving it.

I want to make this trip as special as she is, and want my son to feel special as well. He wasn't the one to go through all the medical issues, but he was affected none the less.

Anyways, I just wanted to say hi.

Your family has been through a lot in the last year. Glad to hear that Michelle is doing so well now. My Emma just started 1st grade and is very excited as well. It's wonderful how they love school at that age.

Sounds like this trip will be a great time for all of you. Enjoy your trip and if you need help with any designs just let us know. Someone is sure to help out.

I live east of Sacramento, along Hwy 50 towards Lake Tahoe. I grew up in Los Gatos, DH grew up in San Anselmo.

We are going to WDW October 7-15 and staying at the Poly! They wanted to make us stay at Give Kids the World which looks nice, but Michelle really wanted a hotel with a waterslide so after much back and forth, they gave us a choice of 5 Disney hotels and after looking at pictures of the pools, she chose the Poly.

I LOVE that MAW design...how would I go about getting a good quality format to use it?

Mrs Heg, I just showed Michelle the picture of your MAW design. She liked it, but is there any way to add Sleeping Beauty in her pink dress to it? That is her favorite character.
