Hello is there anyone else out there who is NOT watching the football (yawn) at the moment?

I'm not!

Good time to catch up on all the posts I've not read on here :)

Denise

Must be a Lisa thing too I HATE football. DH & DS have watched matches most days I am sick of it now

At last someone else out there i was beginning to think there was something wrong with me and DD i just can't see what there is to watch kicking a ball around a field for 90 mins :confused3

Hi DeeDee and Lisa

I for one will be glad when it's all over - it's all they talk about at work (well, that and Big Brother which I also can't bear), next time I may just book 4 weeks on a desert island somewhere to avoid it all :)

Off to dream about my WDW holiday in 102 days time now.................

Hope you both survive the remaining 2 weeks of footie!

Denise

Obviously just the 4 of us then :teeth: It is doing my nut in - even DS (who is only 3) is getting right into it and shouting 'Come on England' :sad2:

Me too :goodvibes

Just got back from taking DD and a friend to play at an Adventure Playground all afternoon :thumbsup2

They're looking pretty grubby now, I'm starving and my eldest DD (22) thinks I'm going soft in my old age (always been absolutely terrified of taking anyone else's kids anywhere............................. :rotfl2: )

Time for tea

so far I've watched 1 game, and that's the one I attended live in Berlin as a freebie from work.

It's not so much the footie that bothers me, it's the endless talking about it, you can't get away from it....!!

Wall to wall Tennis now for two weeks on two BBC stations, with the odd game of football thrown in to look for.

You can pray for rain, but it looks like everything esle, ( except DOCTOR WHO) is a repeat!

My girlfriends and I couldn't stand it anymore today. We left the guys at home watching the footie. Went out for a meal and a chick flick. Don't actually think they noticed we weren't there :rotfl2:

I haven't been watching the World Cup because since 1958 Wales have not got to the finals!

I have a drinks coaster which says "I support two teams - Wales and whoever England are playing!"

However, for the UK as a whole, it would be good to see England win - however unlikely.

David
