Hi there

Got back yesterday from our holiday. Got to say that the weather was warmer than last year, we could take our gloves off and not have snappage of the fingers:rotfl: Ski suits still came in handy though. It rained for the 6 days but that was ok, didn't put us off in the slightest!

The holiday in itself was superb but AGAIN some of our party (4 people not including us) got ill...I'm beginning to think DLP is disease ridden! I'm feeling dodgy now and so is my daughter (we got back yesterday) My 2 year old son was violently sick yesterday and while we were there we saw a few people being sick over railings etc!:scared1: Maybe its the time of year who knows?

Alot of queue jumpers this year too...I 100% blame the parents, I wasn't standing for it and told them exactly what I thought and although they all stood there with their mouths open I think they got the point and joined the queue. No point coming back home and moaning about it, get it sorted there and then!;)

Stayed at the Santa Fe Hotel and can't fault it, room was very clean and fresh and really warm, the food was ok too, staff were superb also.

Went on Tower of Terror and near died, I swear that ride shouldn't be legal..after the ride I couldn't walk right, my left leg was shaking so much but hey my right leg was ok for some reason!:rotfl2: My 7 year old went on it and loved it...kids are weird!

Crushes Coaster is superb although I didn't expect it to be like it is..don't want to spoil it for people who haven't been on but its great.

Managed all the rides that were open aload of times so got my monies worth again this year, got to say though it was alot busier than last year!:) The kids absolutely loved it and so did we, can't wait til 09 to go again! Got to meet loads of characters so my daughter was over the moon!

Will try and post some pics but don't hold your breath!

Forgot to say that my daughter was chuffed at the Lion King show because Timone and Nala came over to her and shook her hand and that! Made her day!

What a shame - I think the sickness bug is all over at the moment. Lots of kids off school.

Well done.:thumbsup2 If we all say NO to the q-jumpers it may reduce the problem - who knows? It's worth a try.

Lol - you're far braver than me - I didn't even try it. My daughter loved it though. Isn't the theming great?

Sounds like you mainly had a brilliant time. Welcome home.

Welcome home:) Crushes Coaster is my new favourite ride, it's fantastic but not a slow childrens ride (then I haven't said too much)

Wow you saw the Princesses actually inside the castle? Cooooool!!!!

I can't believe your trip has come and gone already!

Elaine

Sounds like apart from the tummy bug you had a good time and met lots of characters too :thumbsup2 Lovely photos, thanks for sharing them.
Hope you're all feeling better soon.:goodvibes

Thank you all for the lovely comments..I have heaps more photos of characters (went abit overboard to be honest) But you get the general idea:rotfl: The only princess we didn't meet was Snow White but got a photo of her in the parade.

Its a great place and can't wait to go back.:)

:thumbsup2

Photos are fabulous!!! Your kids will have no problem remembering this trip in years to come. The smile on your daughters face says it all...:)

Great pictures! I can't wait to get back there!

My husband said there's something going around the Paris area and it's bad, sorry you caught it! We got it over Christmas there two years ago, on the upside the trip to the small town doctor near Calais was much cheaper than a trip to the doctor here in the states! ;)

The way I'm feeling right now I'm actually scared to go back!:rotfl: My husband is really bad now and we are getting worse..I just think its weird on the 3 occasions we have been we have witnessed people in distress and on 2 occasions we have come back really ill...on the bright side my son who had the worst of it yesterday is ok now and eating!!!:thumbsup2

Another thing thats niggling me is I'm never ill, ok I might get the sniffles but apart from that..nope. There is defo something in the air in there!

Oh no, i hope none of my family come down with whatever is going around next week. Our family is prone to catching sickness bugs, esp me mum and daughter.
Glad your son is feeling a little bit better. :) Hope you all recover soon.

I'm sure you will be fine, but if you aren't let me know because I'm having second thoughts about going back...I've lost half a stone so far today..checked on 2 sets of scales to make sure!:scared1:

At the end of the day I could have caught it here its just the time of year that it is...who am I trying to convince here me or you?:rotfl:

I have emailed the others (21 of us!) and so far (apart from the ones that got it over there)they are ok so looks like we were just unlucky!:thumbsup2

Have a superb holiday, we totally loved it and in a wks time I would have forgotten about feeling like this and I'll be looking at the websites to re book!

Welcome back, lovely photos:thumbsup2
