yeah my DH is lazy.. unless it suits him he doesnt feel like doing much.. its very irritating to come home from work at midnight and Jason is still up.. as much as I love to see him i know its not good for him.. and for him to still not have had a bath by that point just makes my insides boil!

Stephanie, I'm sorry to hear that. How old are you and DH out of curiousity? I know none of this is my business. I've just read the things you've wrote and it seems you work yourself to death trying to do it all. And with a little one and trying to work full time it's very stressful.

I dont mind you asking.. I am 23 and he is 24.. I'm trying to show him it isnt impossible like he acts like to take care of Jason all day and keep the house clean.. he acts like he cant do it. I'm doin it and im broken!

::yes:: but I dont mind!

Neither do I!!

Hope it was worth the excitement.

Oh actually it was. I really enjoyed it myself.

And sometimes it does not matter how strong we think we are, we all need someone like that.

Boy, truer words have never been spoken.

I do believe men cannot do all we do and still keep their sanity. It's almost like we're born with this gene that tells us we need to do it all. But, I do also believe that as Father's, men do need to step up and do their share. And I know kids want Mom if given the choice. (or at least mine did). And i think sometimes it's so easy for the guy just to let us do it all. Have you spoken to DH and told him how you feel? Because it will eventually make you bitter towards him if it hasn't already.

So, I went shopping earlier. I went and bought myself a couple of bras for my trip.

yeah I've talked to him and he told me he cant multitask well enough to do it all.. all I want him to do is clean the living room after Jason falls asleep and keep up with the dishes.. if everyone does their own and he does his and Jason's it wouldnt be that hard.. and I kept up on everyone's and his mom loves it (we live with my in laws).. her and I are the only ones in the house working so the guys need to step up and keep the place clean!

yeah I saw them on Facebook about it.. dorks.. they all are! :happytv:

Oh yeah all three of them. I watched it upstairs.

What!? He doesn't work and still can't help. What does your MIL think of her son? Or is that the way she raised him? Are the Grandparents good about helping since you are living with them?

i went and checked on Jason and he is out like a light!

then I went and got a bowl of rocky road ice cream! :goodvibes

Ugh. I'm sorry, but that's just BULL. I couldn't put up with it.

Grawr. My mom has The Bachelor on again and I am too lazy to go into my room. There's one woman on here who is a total nut job.

they arent much help with the cleaning up after him and stuff like that but I dont expect that from them.. they give him all their attention when they are home (MIL works 2 jobs and FIL is in a band and spends most of his time in Sac) so they dont baby sit much but when they are here they only have eyes for him.. She thinks DH is totally lazy and not responsible but she kinda raised him like that.. so there isnt much I can do because she still coddles him after yelling at him to do something then she poor baby's him.. not so much anymore but after 23 years of it it's a hard habit to shake him of..
