You and me both. While I was out getting my oil changed yesterday I decided that because I had $5 in Border's Bucks I would go spend them. I ended up spending $22. Oh what a bargain.

Oh just another reminder as to why I shouldn't. I have to get a smog check on Monday and then pay my registration for my car. There goes $150 right there.

I hate registration time. I don't have to do smog checks yet but registration kills me.

I've had to do a couple of smog checks in the past but it's what, 10 years when you have to do them every year? I don't know. I wish I was pulling hat number out of thin air or something.

Dillon's installing the new internet, so I am resorting to my phone, lol. There's not much on tv again, so with no Internet, it makes for a boring day. I've got reruns of Extreme Makeover Home Edition on in the background.

What is a smog check? Not sure I've heard of that.

We have to have our vehicles tested to make sure that they are not polluting. California has the stiffest environmental laws in the US.

Ah, I kind of thought that's what it was. As far as I know we don't have to do that here. But I've heard that if you have a vehicle thats past a certain age, they try to convince you to get something a little newer for "green" reasons.
